The Moncton Rallye Motors Nissan Flyers had their winning streak snapped in Bathurst on Sunday, dropping a 4 - 3 decision to the Northern Moose.
After Preston Lounsbury gave the Flyers an early lead the Moose scored twice to take a one goal lead early in the third period. Luke Patterson tied the score with 10 minutes remaining only to see the Moose re-take the lead with less than three minutes to play. The Flyers refused to die as Braeden Macphee tied the game at three, scoring with less than two minutes left. Jack Martin assisted on the goal. However, the Moose scored just 30 seconds later to secure their second win of the season.
Samuel LeBlanc stopped 24 shots in the Flyers' goal.
